A Milestone in MVC's History

Some equipments become more than just work tools, they become part of a company’s identity. This was the case with one of MVC’s gantry cranes, recently dismantled after more than three decades supporting our daily operations.
Installed in 1993, this equipment also holds special significance: it was the first gantry crane sold to Portugal by GH Cranes & Components. Since then, it has been present in countless moments of our production, playing a role in the handling of numerous stone blocks and in the realization of many projects.

Over the years, this gantry crane became a constant presence within the company, accompanying its growth and witnessing the work, dedication, and precision that have always defined our relationship with stone.
Its dismantling marks the end of a cycle, but also serves as a reminder of the journey we have taken so far.

Because MVC’s history is made of people, daily work… and the equipment that has been part of this path.
