More than nine thousand years ago, they were made of stone.

 

The oldest pillows date back to 7000 BC, in ancient Mesopotamia. They were made of stone, uncomfortable, but the purpose of innovation was to raise your head

to prevent insects from entering your ears and mouth. It was a luxury only for the richest. Later, the Egyptians used ivory, marble, ceramics, wood

and stone to make pillows. It is seen that comfort was also not the goal. For this civilization, pillows had a religious significance and were

placed under the heads of the dead to ward off evil spirits.
