Visit from RTP to MVC’s Facilities

As part of the “A Nossa Tarde”, the RTP team, accompanied by presenter Tiago Ferreira, visited the MVC facilities to showcase the work being developed in collaboration with sculptor Carlos Oliveira.
The visit began at the Moleanos No. 2 quarry, owned by the company, where the first step of the creative process was documented: the selection of the stone. This site holds special significance for the sculptor, as it marks the starting point of his works.
Afterwards, inside MVC’s facilities, footage was captured of the limestone sculptures currently being created in partnership with the company. Viewers of the programme will have the opportunity to follow the entire transformation process — from the arrival of the limestone block to the final sculpture.
