With stunning views over the city of Castellón and the sea, a private residence features natural stone that keeps it high and complements the surrounding environment.

La Palometa is a detached family house located in an enviable landscape in the interior of Castellón, Spain. The owners sought a housing space that would integrate into the surroundings and adapt to the natural topography of the land - taking advantage of the existing terraces. They also wanted it to be self-sufficient and to have minimal energy consumption.

The contemporary architecture of the house is built with material that reflects the surrounding environment. Natural stone was used extensively in exterior design, as well as in interior parts.

The material, which consists of a range of shades of gray and beige, forms solid on the exterior walls, as well as on the walls around the pool. The dry cut and stacked pieces provide a sense of permanence and anchor the residence to your beautiful property with its majestic views.

The pieces of textured stone, combined with corten steel, wood, exposed concrete and glass, which further enhance the aesthetics of the house.
