The Case Study of the JW Marriott Houston

The JW Marriott Houston, located in the iconic Samuel F. Carter skyscraper, emerged from an extensive renovation carried out in 2014, led by the renowned architectural firm Gensler.
MVC had the honour of taking part in this project, supplying Rosal limestone to clad the building’s façade. Given that this was an intervention on a historic property, strict measures were adopted to preserve the structural integrity and architectural value of the building.
Years later, the façade remains in perfect condition, showing no signs of deterioration, thereby proving the durability, strength, and quality of Portuguese natural stone.
